2.      Personal data processing

All processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with an appropriate legal basis and for legitimate purposes, defined in advance. For every processing, appropriate retention periods are determined and effective and permanent deletion or anonymisation of personal data after the end of the retention period is ensured.

Submission of personal data is voluntary, but you are obliged to submit the data when this is required by the law. We would like to warn you that certain services cannot be provided without the provision of personal data (e.g. concluding a contract is not possible without the personal data that are required in order to conclude a valid contract).

3.      Protection of your personal data

Your personal data are protected with various measures including technical and organisational measures. We regularly update our software and technological measures in order to provide the highest level of personal data security for you.

In case of a security incident which could endanger the rights and freedoms of natural persons, we shall inform the Information Commissioner within 72 hours of the detected violation.

In case of a security incident that could cause a significant risk to the rights and freedoms of natural persons, we shall also inform the affected natural persons.

4.      Transmission of of your personal data

Personal data can be transmitted to third parties that provide certain services for us, as defined below. We can also transmit your personal data to government authorities when we are required to do so in order to comply with the obligations imposed on us by the law.

Your personal data is transmitted to third parties (contractual processors) only when this is absolutely necessary in order to fulfil the purpose for which the data was collected. Personal data is only transmitted based on a signed contract about data processing, detailing the processing. Contractual processors may only process personal data for the purposes that are set out in the contract on data processing.

At the www.navkom.si website we provide access to the following web plug-ins: Facebook, LinkedIn, Vimeo and YouTube.

We would like to inform you that all the above-mentioned social networks use their own privacy rules. Please read those rules carefully before any interaction with social media.

6.      Your rights

You have the following rights related to personal data processing:

  • Access to personal data: You have the right to ask for information if we are processing your personal data, request access to personal data and information about the processing that we are carrying out.
  • Rectification of personal data: In case of incomplete or inaccurate data, you can request rectification.
  • Limitation of personal data processing: You can request that we temporarily limit the processing of your personal data, e.g. for the time of rectification of personal data that we are processing about you.
  • Erasure of personal data: You can request erasure of your personal data, whereas we may not erase data that we are processing based on a (still active) contractual relationship and data that we are processing in accordance with the law.
  • Personal data output: You can request to receive personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
  • Withdrawal of consent: You can withdraw the consent for data processing that you have previously given, without any negative consequences for you. You can withdraw your consent by sending an e-mail to info@navkom.si. After you withdraw your consent, we may no longer be able to provide certain services to you.
  • Objecting to personal data processing: You have the right to object to personal data processing when personal data is being processed for the purpose of direct marketing, including profiling. You can object by sending an e-mail to info@navkom.si.
  • The right to data portability: You can request an output of personal data that you have submitted to us and its transmission to another controller. At your request, we shall transmit the personal data directly to another controller, when this is technically possible.

You can exercise your rights by sending an e-mail to info@navkom.si. We shall respond to your request as soon as possible, but no later than 30 days. In case of extensive requests, we may extend this 30-day period. When this is the case, we shall inform you.

We reserve the right to request additional personal data from you when we cannot identify you reliably based on the personal data that you have submitted. If you refuse to submit such personal data, we shall dismiss your request.

If you believe that there has been a breach of personal data protection, you can notify the Information Commissioner. You can find more information about the competence of the Information Commissioner at www.ip-rs.si. 

7. Location Permissions

request access to location permissions for the following purposes:

  1. Bluetooth Communication
    The Android operating system requires location permissions to enable Bluetooth functionality. We use this permission solely to:

    • Scan for nearby Bluetooth devices.
    • Establish and maintain Bluetooth connections.

    We do not collect, use, or store precise location data for Bluetooth communication.

  2. Solar Timer Functionality
    The solar timer feature uses approximate location data to determine sunrise and sunset times specific to your region. This allows the app to provide accurate timing based on your local solar conditions.

    The location data used for this feature is approximate and not stored or shared with third parties.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and only use location permissions for the purposes listed above.
